

1.Expressway
Normally select the center of expressway central partition. If necessary, select the location between drainages ditch under the shoulder or roadbed and partition. In special situations, it can be poured in concrete percussion wall in short distances.
2.Highway
Normally select the side ditch or shoulder. If the highway will be widened, straightened, or rerouted, select 15m beyond the planned red line.
3.City Streets
Normally select pavement, non-motor lane or greenbelts. If necessary, select the side of the motor lane.
4.Common Areas
Areas with flat ground: slopes hard for soil borrowing or collapse, subside, landslide.
5.Along the Railway Line
Normally select the location 5m beyond the roadbed the railway. If railway departments have special requirements, it should be selected according to the regulations of related design departments.
Excavation of the Groove and Buried Depth
1.General Regulation
The groove should be smooth and straight as far as possible. The groove bottom should be free of of hard ridges and extruded pointed stones and bricks.
Design width of the groove bottom should be dtermined according to the arrangement width of the silicon core pipes. Generally, the width should be about 10cm wider than the arrangement width.
To facilitate the operators to arrange the silicon core pipes in the groove, the minimum width of the groove bottom should not be less than 30cm.
During laying silicon core pipes in expressway partition, the design of buried depth and arrangement width of silicon core pipe should consider the infuences of the installation of percussion guardrail to the silicon core pipes.
2.Buried Depth
Should comply with the following requirements for depth (this depth refer to the distance from the upper surface of the upper layer of silicon core pipes and the the ground).
